Land Rover Range Rover is approaching its 50th birthday, according tomedia reports, and the carmaker plans to launch a limited-edition Range Rover Rover to celebrate the landmark SUV’s special day. The carmaker has revealed that as a tribute to the first Land Rover Range Rover model in 1970, it will launch only 1970 Fifty Luxury SUVs worldwide.
Of course, in 1970, SUVs didn’t sell as well as they do today. In any case, Land Rover Range Rover is definitely an icon of a modern car.
The Range Rover Will Will will be built on the existing Autobiography, and the automaker will add two new, unique 22-inch wheel designs and a special exterior trim for the Auric Atlas.
Car buyers will be able to make some decisions when making their cars. The Range Rover will offer the Fifty-Long and Long Axis versions and seven color options – in addition to the existing Carpathian Grey, Rosello Red, Aruba and Santorini Black, which also includeSTuscan Blue, Bahama Gold and Davos White.
The three new colours are among the first-generation Land Rover Range Rover, all of which were selected from the company’s heritage collection of land rover Special Vehicle Operations, the company’s custom and performance division.
As for the engine, there are no options — at least in the North American market. It is reported that under the hood Land Rover Range Rover will use a 5.0L supercharged V8 gasoline engine, which can output 518 horsepower power. It will work with Land Rover’s standard second-generation terrain and all-terrain progress control system.
In addition, the car is equipped with a highly adjustable air suspension system and the function of the downhill mode. Land Rover Range Rover’s dual-touch Touch Pro Duo infotainment system is installed on the dashboard with a tilted display at the top and a second display underneath. As for the Autobiography kit, this means the car is equipped with meridian Surround Signature Sound audio system, porous top leather seats, ambient lights, panoramic roofs and automatic four-zone climate control.
The final range Rover’s size, including pricing, will be announced as the launch date approaches. It is reported that the limited edition car is expected to arrive later in 2020.
