The mission is known as the Trident, and NASA intends to launch a probe in a decade to carry out the mission. One of the many mysteries that scientists want to solve is why Neptune operates in the opposite direction to Neptune. This is not the other big moons of the solar system. The orbit of Neptune is also in an extremely oblique state, 23 degrees from Neptune’s equator.
Scientists also believe that Neptune did not start in orbit around Neptune, which scientists believe migrated from the Kuiper Belt. It also has a unique atmosphere filled with charged particles called ionospheric layers. Its ionosphere is ten times more active than the ionosphere of any other moon in the solar system.
What makes the fact that Haiwei has an ionosphere is even more interesting is that such features are generally caused by solar energy charging. However, Neptune and Neptune are too far away from the sun, so there may be other sources of energy at work. The Trident probe will have a full-frame imaging camera, as well as other scientific instruments.
