According tomedia reports, Lime is expanding its subscription service LimePass and has launched its day card, monthly card. This is the scooter company’s attempt to target consumers over time in a market where products and pricing schemes are almost identical. It is reported that LimePass users can rent a Lime electric scooter for a nominal fee for a whole day or a month.
The day card allows customers to enjoy unlimited 30 minutes of usage time within 24 hours, while the monthly card has a fixed number of daily usage times of up to 30 minutes each time.
Prices vary from market to market, but according to screenshots of the exposure, the daily card costs about $14.99, while the monthly card costs about $16.99 for five rides a day and $29.99 for 10 rides per day. In addition, Lime offers a lock-free pass free of rental fees.
Starting today, the expanded LimePass will be launched in cities in the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and New Zealand, and the rest of the global market will be launched in late June.
