According tomedia reports, Volkswagen has released 2021 Arteon, of which the station wagon version arteon Shooting Brake will only be listed in Europe, China and other markets (not included in the United States). Vw is understood to be simplifying the 2021 Arteon model, abandoning the mid-range SEL model but retaining the base model SE.
With that in mind, sE features a new standard suite of new dashboards, a digital cockpit, Volkswagen’s latest MIB3 infotainment system, an 8-inch display and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, new 18-inch tires, a four-door keyless entry system, a new steering wheel and a touch-controlled HVAC system.
At the same time, Arteon R-Line comes with wireless charging, new 20-inch wheels, refreshing ambient lighting and grille light poles. Arteon SE, on the other hand, features an updated bumper design.
The 2021 Volkswagen Arteon SEL Premium R-Line features unique 20-inch wheels, a 700-watt premium Harman Caton sound system, and a range of luxurious features – including ventilation and front seat massages, rear seat heating and a 360-degree camera. All new Arteon models use upgraded interior materials to provide a better atmosphere for the driver.
In terms of safety, the new Arteon is equipped with comprehensive forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, rear intersection warning, front lane assistance, emergency assistance, lane departure warning and lane keeping assistance.
All of the new 2021 VW Artons are powered by a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 268 horsepower. The engine comes with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, while all-wheel drive is optional. In the European market, Arteon R-Line offers a wide range of options for gasoline and diesel versions.
It is reported that the 2021 Volkswagen Arteon sedan, Shooting Brake and R-Line reservation channels are now open in the European market. Prices and other configuration information will be announced shortly.
