According tomedia reports, the Twitter account @omegaleaks recently tweeted that he had some new information about the iPhone 12. Apple will push the 4G version of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max to give consumers a cheaper option, it said. It is reported that the account has just registered. According to @omegaleaks, the phones will cost $549 and $649, respectively.
Confusingly, the leaker also claimed that another Apple whistleblower, Jon Prosser, was right to predict the price of 5G phones. Jon Prosser is reported to have said the iPhone 12 and 12 Max 5G will cost $649 and $749, respectively.
To be honest, it’s a bit strange that Apple is pushing two web versions for a model — if the latest revelations are true.
The whistleblower also said pricing for the 4G iPhone 12 and 12 Max was inspired by the pricing strategies of the iPhone 11 and ii iPhone SE.
