AMD unveils Boot Camp driver for 16-inch MacBook Pro equipped with Radeon Pro 5600M

AMD has released the boot Camp driver for the 16-inch MacBook Pro for the Radeon Pro 5600M graphics card, which has since been fully compatible with Windows 10, and the new graphics configuration went on sale on its website earlier this month as a $700 upgrade option.

Apple says the 5600M graphics card with 8GB HBM2 memory is 75 percent faster than the 5500M graphics card with 4GB GDDR6 memory in the basic 16-inch MacBook Pro.

Boot Camp allows Windows to start directly on macs with a base Intel processor. Future ARM-based Macs will not support the utility, and Craig Federighi, Apple’s head of software engineering, has said that “pure virtualization” will be the way to run Windows in the future.
