Tesla’s shares jumped 6.98 percent to $1,079.81 at tuesday’s close, with a market capitalisation of $20.2 billion, beijing time on Tuesday. That’s 5.5 Gms. On its 10th anniversary, Tesla’s share price is now up more than 4,000 per cent since it was initially listed.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Monday that the company is on track to break even in the second quarter despite the global pandemic.
Musk said he believes Tesla can make a profit or even break even every quarter in the event of any major economic downturn.
