Recently, according tomedia Deadline reported that “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” will be filming a new CG animated film. Paramount has announced that it will co-produce a new CG animated film for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” with Nickelodeon Animation and Points Grey of Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver. Directed by Jeff Rowe (“Smart Counterattack”), by Brendan O’Brien (“Neighbors”) and Paramount Pictures for global distribution.

Paramount has released two live-action versions of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” the first of which in 2014 , “Teenage Mutant Shita,” with $125 million and a $493 million global box office. But the cost of the second “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Breaking Bad” cost $135 million and took in just $245 million at the global box office, a failure. The new CG animated film of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is expected to abandon the dirty style of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Age of Mutants” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Breaking Bad.”

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles originated in 1984, the first generation of animated films in 1987, and introduced into Chinese mainland around 1991, becoming a childhood memory of the 70s and 80s. The work features a group of toothy, pizza-loving turtles named after Renaissance artists, including Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci and Donatello, who learned the ninja from a mutant mouse from New York.
