Citroen has a long history in this area and now hopes to re-establish itself with the new all-electric p-4, a compact hatchback that will continue the carmaker’s planned journey on the electrified road in 2016.

The new C4 draws elements from the Citroen SUV lineup, while using higher, larger diameter wheels.

Powered by an electric motor capable of generating 136 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque, the c4 can accelerate for 100 km in 9.7 seconds in sport mode, with a top speed of 150km/h.

The 50kWh, 400V lithium-ion battery can support 350 km of driving Li Heng per full charge, and Citroen provides a warranty of 8 years or 160,000 km of 70% power. In addition, the battery can be partially charged with the brake function to increase the range.

Citroen said the car’s battery can be charged with 100kW public fast charging facilities in 30 minutes to charge 80% of the battery, or the home through a 32-Wall Box (Citroen is responsible for installing) in a single-phase charge with 7 and a half hours of full charge or using a 11kW charger in a three-phase charge.

Like the previous C4 Cactus and C5 Aircross SUVs, the C4 also features a Citroen Progressive Hydraulic Cushions suspension system, which adds hydraulic stop to conventional shock absorbers, springs and mechanical stops.

Unlike the C4 Actus and C5 Aircross, the new electric car also comes with Citroen Advanced Comfort seats, which are designed to provide superior comfort. If the driver feels that this is not comfortable enough, they can also choose the front seat massage system and heating system.

The car has 16 storage spaces to provide a total of 39 liters of storage capacity, while the tail provides 380 liters of storage space, the rear seat can be folded up, providing an additional maximum capacity of 1250 liters.

Citroen has not announced when the e-C4 will go on sale and its price. Currently, the e-C4 is available in both gasoline and diesel versions.
