In early development versions of Android 10, Google introduced bubble notifications as a native option, but for some reason this feature was hidden. Fortunately, these restrictions have been removed in Android 11 Beta 1, allowing users to navigate to the app’s notification settings and select “Bubbles” to enable them.
Now, Google Messages for Android 11 Beta also gets bubble notifications. As mentioned above, users can jump to the app’s settings options and then enable the “Bubbles” option, which will have “All conversations can bubble” (all conversations are open for bubbles), “Select conversations can bubble” (select conversation enable bubbles), and “Not Not bubbles enabled” (no bubbles enabled).
To get support for bubble notifications in the Google Messaging app, you don’t need to update the app through the Google Play Store because it’s available through server-side updates.
