Media reported that “Microsoft Flight Simulation” is due to welcome Alpha 5 next Thursday, while bringing some details of the partnership with NAVBLUE. Earlier this week, Microsoft issued a new alpha test invitation that interested players can apply to participate in the July 9 Alpha 5 test. After that, Microsoft will shift its focus to public testing, and can’t wait for friends to review the recent “Partner Series” trio.
The FlightAware update provides insights into how aviation intelligence companies collect “real-time and predictive flight” and how they play a role in the game. Jorg Neumann, project leader for Microsoft Flight Simulation, wrote in a blog post:
“The team is working hard to present the most accurate copy of the world in a flat perspective. With FlightAware’s data, we’re excited that the new game will be able to use the actual air transport conditions around the world as a way, whether on the ground or in the air.”
It is reported that out-of-the-box “flight awareness” data will allow players to fully experience the open airspace in the game, view the aircraft’s entry and exit, as well as know the flight plans for a particular flight.
In addition, the insider tester’s feedback snapshot has been updated (v?05.01), and as of the time of writing, the official community of Microsoft Flight Simulation (Discord Channel) has more than 10,000 members.
