Flight tracking site FlightAware recently announced a partnership with Microsoft’s flight simulation. Now the company’s Firehouse stream will provide real-time global traffic data for Microsoft Flight Simulation. Unprecedentedly, players can also interact seamlessly in real time with real-life nearby aircraft.
“The Microsoft Flight Simulation team is working hard to bring the most accurate replica of the world to simulation game enthusiasts from an airplane perspective,” said Jorg Neumann, head of Microsoft Flight Simulation. Thanks to Flight Aware’s data, we’re excited to fill the world with real air traffic from around the world, both on the ground and in the air. FlightAware data will allow players to share their flight space with current air traffic in flight, check arrivals and departures at airports, select any flight to view their flight plans, and even control them when they are almost off course. “
According to Microsoft officials, “Microsoft Flight Simulation” Alpha 5 will arrive on July 9, the game is currently in Alpha state, BETA will be held at the end of July.
