Windows 10 Built-in Photo app is testing new indexing options

Microsoft is working with Windows Insiders to test new features for the Windows 10 Photo app. The app’s 20070.3003.0 version includes a new indexing option that allows the user to set a path to the network and optionally add the found photos to the Photo Gallery, which is turned off by default.

Selecting the ability to turn off the specific network path indexing feature can help save network resources and reduce the impact of the operating system on and its own system resources and the productivity of other users during busy times.
