Microsoft will host the Xbox Series X game presentation on July 23 at 9:00a/12:00 A.M. EST. The company plans to showcase games made by its Xbox Game Studios, including Halo Infinity. In a trailer for the afew weeks ago, 343 Industries briefly previewed Halo Infinity, revealing that the cast-ins will return for the next big installment in the Halo series.
But it’s not just Halo that Microsoft is steadily acquiring gaming studios, which now have a total of 15 Xbox studios. Microsoft recently created a Fable-occupied Twitter account, and fans are skeptical that the game will return during the Xbox event in July. Microsoft has also recently extended its Fable logo to USB chargers, portable speakers, headphones and more.
Given that Microsoft announced The Blade s2 at the launch of the Xbox Series X last year, there’s reason to think we’ll see more about the upcoming game. With the launch of The Psychots 2 still due to be launched by Microsoft’s Double Fine Studios in 2020, there are bound to be some hints about how Forza and Gears of War will adapt to the more powerful hardware in the Xbox Series X.
Rare also released Everwild in November, and we may learn more about Microsoft’s activities. As usual, Xbox fans are hoping for surprises, such as the new “Pitch Perfect” or Banjo-Kazooie.
Microsoft has promised that some of its Xbox game studio teams will reveal new gameplay, games optimized for Xbox Series X and even brand-new games.
