The second Global Technology Conference held by the U.S. Consumer News and Business Channel (CNBC) was held in Nansha, Guangzhou on the 18th, and Huawei Chairman Liang Hua revealed that Huawei will release its overall strategy related to HongMeng on November 20. According to CNBC officials, the conference has international business machine company, NASDAQ, Ant financial, Huawei, JD.com, GAC Group and other industry-leading giant enterprises to participate in the 18th to 20th two-and-a-half days, there will be more than 35 furnace-side talks, panel discussions.
Liang Hua, Huawei’s chairman, told the conference that the company would release its overall strategy related to Hong Meng on November 20. He said that Huawei is focusing on product redesign, the arrival of the new 5G, the market demand is very large.
According to Liang Hua, 5G is an infrastructure that can support the development of artificial intelligence, really amplify the role of the digital economy and promote the development of all mankind.
Liang Hua’s views coincide with OPPO Guangdong Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. (“OPPO”) chief 5G scientist Tang Hai, OPPO commercial 5G mobile phone recently unveiled in Europe, is expected to launch the market in the near future. Tang Hai pointed out that Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Great Bay Area will be the ideal place for 5G landing.
GAC Group General Manager Feng Xingya told the conference that GAC, together with Tencent, Huawei and other information technology companies in the Greater Bay region, has jointly developed a driverless system, ADiGO. The system is composed of intelligent driving system, Internet of Things, big data, voice platform, can provide good help and driving experience for driverless safety and convenience.
CNBC President John Sullivan said that in addition to continuing past topics such as fintech, artificial intelligence, 5G and smart cities, this year’s Global Technology Conference also pays special attention to the development of the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, hoping to enable more global companies to share new development opportunities.
