Do you use Alt-Tab a lot on Windows 10 systems? With this keyboard shortcut key combination, you can easily switch applications. Currently, this feature cannot look for browser tabs in the window. However, Microsoft said it would change in the next feature update for Windows 10.
Microsoft has confirmed that users are able to switch between the application and the Edge browser tab. In Windows 10 Build 20161, Microsoft has updated the default behavior of Alt-Tab, and the switching interface includes a tab page for Microsoft Edge (chromium version).
While combining the Alt-Tab shortcut with the Edge browser tab can increase productivity, the Alt-Tab view becomes a bit crowded when you open too many tabs and app windows.
Fortunately, Microsoft allows users to customize the interactive experience, and users can choose from the following options in their settings
Open all tabs in the window and Edge browser
Open 5 recent tabs in the window and The Edge browser
Open the 3 most recent tabs in the window and the Edge browser
Open only the window
