Although the U.S. government is considering pushing TikTok out of the market, the latest data from Sensor Tower shows that tikTok will remain number one in the global app download list in June 2020. As a non-gaming app, TikTok has more than 87 million downloads last year, but this June is up more than 52.7 percent from the same period in 2019. Segmented, the Indian market contributed the most downloads, followed by the U.S. market.

After TikTok, software downloads to Zoom, the cloud video conferencing service provider, were also strong, making it the double runner-up in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The company said it installed nearly 71.2 million software installations last month, 34 times the number downloaded for the same period in 2019. The Indian market contributed 30.8 per cent, followed by the US (11.3 per cent).
The 3rd to 5th place on the list of downloads of non-gaming global apps remains social giant Facebook, as well as its WhatsApp instant messaging and Instagram photo-sharing services.
Interestingly, Google’s YouTube became the third most downloaded app in Apple’s App Store last month. On the Android platform, the top three are occupied by Facebook.
