Apple CEO Tim Cook’s 2019 compensation totals more than $133 million

Apple CEO Tim Cook is the second-highest-paid CEO in the U.S. in 2019, according to a bloomberg list of the highest-paid CEOs and executives in the U.S. in 2019. Cook received a total of $133,727,869, according to Bloomberg.

Almost all of Cook’s compensation is in the form of stock awards and related performance bonuses. The Sec reported earlier this year that Cook was awarded a base salary of $3 million and a $7.7 million reward, with the rest coming from stock awards that he owned that year.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is the highest-paid CEO in the United States in 2019, earning nearly $600 million. ChargerCommunications CEO Tom Rutledge, former ACT CEO Joseph Ianniello of CBS, Chewy CEO Sumit Singh and Blackstone GROUP COO Jonathan Gray all earned more than $100 million.

As for other tech executives, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai is paid $86m, Intel CEO Robert Swan is $99m and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is $77m.

Cook, who often donates to charities, has said in the past that he plans to donate most of his wealth.
