One of Mercedes-Benz’s most iconic cars is the Big G, more than 40 years since it began production,media reported. The carmaker announced that the G-class standard equipment roster would become more extensive starting in September. The new personalization options will also be available to vehicles through the G manufaktur project.
It is reported that the new options include the new appearance color, equipment packaging. The widescreen cockpit is a Quasi-G-class configuration. The car is now available for order, with prices ranging from 99,446 euros to 102,694 euros. Mercedes also offers the Mercedes-AMG G 63 for 154,309 euros. One of the most varied models is that the G 400 D can now be configured without restrictions.
This version brings an in-line six-cylinder diesel engine that can deliver 330 horsepower power and 700 Nm of torque. In the enhanced model, there is a new Desert Drive project designed to provide maximum traction for cars in the sand. Parking Packages with reversing cameras are now standard.
One of the personalized options is the Night Package.
Stainless Steel Packages will still be available to consumers. One notable change is that the widescreen cockpit is now the standard configuration for this model, with the frameless interior of the rear view mirror previously part of the Leather Package. Urban Guard Vehicle Protection is a new push kit that brings a variety of alarm systems and GPS to locate stolen vehicles.
