Samsung is expected to launch its new true wireless headset soon, with WalkingCat posting a 3D animation of the headset on Twitter today, media reported. “Stop the noise outside. Let the sound come in” should be a sign that the headset will have active noise reduction. Samsung is expected to release its iconic Galaxy Buds Live true wireless headset in the coming weeks, with some expecting it to be released on July 22.
The design of the headset was leaked earlier and has been confirmed by the Samsung Wearables app.
The icon confirmed the kidney-shaped device, but did not specify its name, as the icon only says Buds live. The names that have been revealed so far are Galaxy Beans and Buds X, and the final names are still pending.
It follows rumours that Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Live wireless earbuds will offer active noise reduction (ANC). There are also rumours that the Galaxy Buds Live will offer two speakers, multiple microphones, codenamed SM-R180.
Newly leaked photos show that the headset’s companion charging box will be smaller than the already small Galaxy Buds plus box, which will be shaped closer to the shape of Apple’s Airpod box.
The latest images also confirm that Buds Live will have two speakers.
Samsung’s upcoming wireless headset is expected to cost 17,000 won (about $140). For comparison, Apple’s Airpods Pro costs $249, $109 more than the Galaxy Buds Live. If the price of the Galaxy Buds Live is true, Samsung has a clear advantage over Apple in terms of price.
