At the Made By Google launch in New York, Google unveiled its Chromebook, the PixelBook Go, for Apple MacBook Air. In a video shared today by the foreign media MacRumors, the two products are compared live to see if the PixelBook Go has the power to replace the MacBook Air.
The Pixelbook Go features a 13.3-inch 16:9 touchscreen. The processor is available in Intel Core m3, i5 and i7 configurations, 8GB or 16GB of memory, 64GB/128GB/256GB storage, with dual speakers and two USB-C interfaces, and a 2 megapixel front camera. Continue with Chrome OS.
The Pixelbook Go keyboard feels a little like the first-generation Pixelbook, with an Assistant Google-specific keyin in the lower left corner. Officials say the flight is 12 hours long. The Pixelbook Go has made some improvements to the front speakers, with two microphones, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a built-in Titan C chip, standard WiFi interface and Bluetooth.
The Pixelbook Go starts at $649 (about 4,595 yuan)
