Samsung UK today released a new short video of the warm-up, complete with the slogan “A new look”. This semantic pun means not only that a new look is about to be revealed, but also means a new breakthrough in folding design. This means that the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be a significant improvement over the first generation.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2’s internal screen will feature a 7.7-inch collapsible Super AMOLED screen (Y-OCTA) with a refresh rate of 120Hz and is protected with UTG (ultra-thin glass), South Korean news agency ETNews reported.
The exterior screen is equipped with a 6.23-inch Super AMOLED screen, and, like the first Galaxy Fold, is equipped with a fingerprint sensor on the side. Reported that the inside and outside of the phone are equipped with a 10 megapixel self-timer camera.
The galaxy Z Fold 2 will also feature three cameras on the back of the body, including a 12-megapixel camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens, the report said. If that’s true, the phone has the same camera settings as the Galaxy S20.
On the battery side, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also features 15W fast wireless charging and 15W fast reverse wireless charging. According to previous sources, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be equipped with two batteries, a total capacity of 4365mAh, and a 25W fast charger. The machine is expected to feature a SnapSnapdragon 865 plus processor with built-in 256GB/512GB storage and 5G connectivity.
In comments on this tweet, some users speculated that Samsung might launch a double-folded phone, rendered as follows:
