The rumored Galaxy S20 fan edition will go on sale in South Korea in October and is expected to ship more than 5 million units by the end of 2020, South Korean media The Elec reported. The phone retails for 900,000 won (ABOUT 5244.3 yuan), $100 more than the Galaxy S10 Lite.
In addition, Korean media reported that the Galaxy S20 fan version will not have a large-scale improvement in the size of the camera. The back of the body features a three-camera solution with a 12-megapixel main sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The front-facing camera is similar to the previous generation, with a 32-megapixel punching camera.
Despite the high price, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition may actually be more cost-effective than the Galaxy S10 Lite. Rumor has it that the phone will use the same SnapSnapdragon 865 chipset as the Galaxy S20 series. In addition to the same chipset, the S20 Fan Edition is rumoured to feature a 120Hz Infinity-O display and IP68 dust/water resistant.
