Garmin, a well-known sports brand, was hit yesterday in a suspected ransomware attack that disrupted services including its website, mobile app and Garmin Connect,media reported. And customers can’t connect to Garmin’s call center, and company team members can’t access chats, calls, or emails.

Garmin officials tweeted about 8:30 a.m. EST acknowledging widespread service disruption. The tweet read: “We are experiencing an outage and Garmin Connect has been affected, with both the website and mobile apps of Garmin Connect now offline. This outage has also affected our call center, and we are currently unable to answer any calls, emails or online chat services. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible and we apologize for the inconvenience. “
