Samsung confirmed that the new earbuds will be called Galaxy Buds Live and have noise reduction.

We’ve seen a lot of pictures of a Samsung bean earbud, and it’s also got an answer. Early updates to Samsung’s Galaxy Buds companion app have confirmed almost all the details of the upcoming headset, including the official name of the Galaxy Buds Live and support for active noise reduction.

Samsung confirmed that the new earbuds will be called Galaxy Buds Live and have noise reduction.

The app also shows a brief guide to how to wear this unique earbud, and shows that the earbuds will have touch control (the default setting is switch active noise reduction) and disable it if it feels easy to touch. The app shows the standard features of finding headphones such as My Earbud Settings and Equalizer options.

Galaxy Buds Live also appeared in a leaked marketing video showing how the earbuds work and a large number of images of the body’s charging case. The only real missing details are how much Galaxy Buds Live costs and when you can buy them.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Buds Live at the Upcoming Unpacked event on August 5 at 10am EST, which will also announce the Galaxy Note 20 series (and possibly even a new Galaxy Foldy model).
