According to An exclusive report by DeadLine, Paramount is in final talks with Noah Hawley , the screenwriter of “Ice Blood Storm” and “Our Generation”, which will write and direct a new Star Trek 4 movie if a contract is reached. The new generation of “Star Trek”, also known as Kelvin Timeline, began with the 2009 reboot of J.J. Abrams’s “Star Trek” and released sequels “Star Trek 2: DarkNo” and “Star Trek 3: Beyond The Stars” in 2013 and 2016, respectively.
It is understood that the new cast may all be reprised, including Chris Pine as Captain Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Zoe Saldana as Uhura, Simon Page as Scott, Carl Urban or Return to Play Old Bones.
Unfortunately, because of his unique accent and lovely acting, Anton Eugene, the audience’s favorite Chekhov, died in a car accident on the eve of the release of the third film Beyond The Stars, and we will never see him in the new Star Trek 4.
As it is still in the negotiation stage, there is no such as subtitle, release window, investment amount and other news out.
