The Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite, also known as the S20 Fan Edition, is believed to soon be available as a cheap starter for the Galaxy S20 series. The SM-G781B phone has previously been spotted on Geekbench, with some key specifications such as processor chips and RAM exposed, and the Galaxy S20 Lite will also be available in 4G and 5G versions for specific markets. Now, we have found the Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite battery, model editing EB-BG781ABY, on the 3C certification website, to confirm the battery capacity.
According to information published on the 3C authentication website, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Lite/Galaxy Fan Edition has a battery rating of 4370mA, while the typical capacity should be 4500mAh, which would be similar to the battery of the Galaxy S20 Plus model. This is also in line with previous Galaxy Club reports.
Given that Samsung’s earlier launch of the Galaxy S10 Lite, the Galaxy S20 Lite’s name may be used in markets such as India, Samsung’s Galaxy S20 Lite will use the SnapSnapdragon 865 chipset with at least 6GB of memory. The phone should look similar to the Galaxy S20 and feature a punching display.
Samsung officials have not confirmed the existence of the Galaxy S20 Lite or Galaxy Fan Edition. According to a june report, the smartphone is likely to be unveiled in October. Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Z Fold 2 foldable phones on August 5.
