Raphael Colantonio, former president and creative director of The Shame developer Arkane Studios, and Julien Roby, the studio’s former executive producer, have announced the creation of a new indie gaming studio, Wolfeye Studios. Its first project will be announced on December 13 at the 2019 TGA Awards.
According to news, Wolfeye Studios’ goal is to create a game where “players experience their own adventures in a rich, simulated world that can be unique in every clearance process due to different actions and choices.”
“After a break and advising various video game companies, I’m ready to take a new adventure,” Raphel Colantonio, Wolfeye’s president and creative director, said in a press release. “AAA market is risk-averse, and innovation is struggling. As a game designer, I’ve always wanted to try new ideas and methods, and I believe independent games are the best option. ”
Julien Roby, ceo and executive producer of Wolfeye Studios, added: “This is a great opportunity to work with Raf again to create the unique and in-depth game we love. As a team around the world, this decision means we can find some of the best people in the industry to help us build our vision. ”
