McGregor and Boorman have been reunited more than a decade after their last world-trip. They are best known for their previous series, “Long Way Round” and “Long Way Down.”

The two men will travel more than 13,000 miles in 100 days, passing through 16 border crossings in 13 countries. Ewan and Charley will travel through Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, and through Colombia, Central America and Mexico. They will ride the electric Harley-Davidson LiveWire motorcycle to promote more sustainable travel around the world. Directors David Alexanian and Russ Malkin will also be in the team.

The first three episodes will be released on Friday, September 18, with new episodes available weekly.

Apple TV Plus is the first streaming service to win a daytime Emmy that year, won the Outstanding Children’s or Family Ratings Award for Ghostwriter, and won the Outstanding Single-Machine Editing Award for “Peanuts in Space: Secrets of Apollo 10.”

American Airlines passengers have a new in-flight entertainment option that will now allow them to watch Apple TV Plus during the flight, either from the passenger’s mobile device or from the seat back screen for free.
