According tomedia reports, Tesla’s second U.S. vehicle plant, already located in Austin, Texas, covers more than 2,000 acres and is currently under construction. Tesla, which aims to build more plants around the world, produce more electric cars, and possibly a third vehicle assembly plant in the U.S., is set to build its second entire vehicle plant in the U.S.
Tesla is likely to build its third vehicle assembly plant in the U.S., CEO Elon Musk said in an interview with an automotive-related news website.
After the opening of the Austin Super plant, Tesla decided to have two vehicle assembly plants in the U.S., and one in Fremont, California, the only vehicle assembly plant tesla has for a long time, as well as Tesla’s largest and most-produced vehicle assembly plant in the world, including model S, Model, Model 3 and Model Y.
According to the information mentioned in themedia report, Musk revealed that the third vehicle assembly plant in the United States, may be built in the northeast of the United States. Tesla currently has two vehicle assembly plants in the U.S., the Fremont plant, which is already in operation, is located in the west, and the Austin plant, which is confirmed and has already started construction, is located in the south.
