On Wednesday, consumer electronics giant Samsung announced that it would open a new Samsung Experience Store in Palo Alto, which will open in December. The Experience Store is understood to be located at the Stanford Mall, just 15 miles from Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino. When it opens, it will showcase the company’s latest products, such as the Galaxy range of products and services.
“Samsung’s offline retail stores are focused on mobile phones, but will give consumers the opportunity to experience a variety of products and services first-hand,” Samsung said in a press release. Samsung said the store would open on December 12 and would welcome Galaxy fans.
The new Samsung store is estimated to be about 5,000 square feet. It is Samsung’s first store in the Bay Area, its second in California and its fourth in the United States.
In February, the tech giant opened the Samsung Experience Store at brand shopping mall in the southern California city of Glendale, along with two other locations in Houston and Long Island.
“Samsung has the broadest range of devices and services in technology,” Samsung said in a press release Wednesday. The company’s product line now covers the Galaxy family of mobile phones, tablets, laptops, QLED and premium UHD TVs as well as game displays, premium speakers and headphones. “
