According tomedia reports, Apple’s latest 2020 iPad Pro has not improved since the next generation. In Jerry RigEverything’s latest durability test, Zack showed that the 2020 iPad Pro’s weaknesses in previous models have not improved.
Compared to the iPad Pro, which has been in use for two years, the 2020 iPad Pro offers no improvement in durability.
The iPhone 6 had the infamous “bending door” incident when it was used in the 6000 series of aluminum. But Apple took note and launched the iPhone 6s, which are hard to bend with the 7000 aluminum. However, Apple doesn’t seem to think it’s necessary to improve the quality of the 2020 iPad Pro, which was released two years later than the iPad Pro with Face ID.
Zack said after the endurance test began that Apple did not reposition the side of the microphone hole — and that’s the weakness of the 2018 iPad Pro. Curiously, devices that are updated in two years’ time will face the same problem. While the material used is one aspect of the story, it is doubtful that the same weaknesses are repeated. The 2020 iPad Pro is really broken like a cookie.
Inside the Magic Keyboard, however, the 2020 iPad Pro is very durable and not easy to bend. Still, not everyone wants to buy this Magic Keyboard because it’s expensive.
