Samsung wants a slice of Apple’s iPad Pro, and the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus look likely to be their stronger rivals, with the galaxy Tab S7 featuring a sharper, more stylish design than its predecessors, which are designed to use or use keyboard cover accessories and support Samsung’s latest S Pen, while the optional integrated 5G communication capabilities help distinguish them from the iPad Pro.

The Galaxy Tab S7 has an 11-inch display with an LTPS TFT panel and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The run resolution is 2560 x 1600. The Galaxy Tab S7 plus is increased in size to 12.4 inches and uses the Super AMOLED panel to increase the resolution to 2800 x 1752 with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

As for connectivity, Samsung will offer different combinations of WiFi, LTE and 5G depending on the tablet of its choice. All models will have WiFi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0 communication capabilities, while the Galaxy Tab S7 will also offer 4G LTE and 5G versions. The Galaxy Tab S7 Plus contains all of the above communication capabilities.

Of course, if you like, you can also use your own Bluetooth or USB-C keyboard and mouse, and can even plug in an external monitor to get more desktop space.

Prices for the Galaxy Tab S7 start at $649.99, while the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus will start at $849.99, both of which will come in the three colors of Mystery Black, Mysterious Silver and Mysterious Copper. They are expected to go on sale in the fall of 2020.
