On the second day of the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 launch (August 6), Samsung filed a trademark application for the “Samsung Book Flex 5G” with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).

The trademark was applied for by a proxy agent from Abril Abogados in Madrid, Spain, and category 9 of which it belongs to includes products such as tablets and laptops.

Last year, the Spanish company was also responsible for registering all Galaxy A-Series (2020) devices.

Although Samsung does not include “Galaxy” in its trademark name, the official product name may still be the Galaxy Book Flex 5G.

Samsung may also equip it with an S-Pen stylus with delays as low as 9 ms as a successor to the Galaxy Book Flex, launched last October.

Finally, we can expect Samsung to release a new entry-level Galaxy Book Ion family in the same period.
