Isaiah Research said Apple’s strong demand for 5nm processes, including the a14, A14 X application processors and chipsets used in the MacBook, was expected to assess Apple’s 5nm process capacity of 4 to 45,000 TSMC units in the first quarter of next year.
Isaiah said that in addition to Apple, Qualcomm SDM875 plus chips into TSMC 5nm time will be faster than expected, MediaTek’s D2000 will also start in the fourth quarter of TSMC 5nm cast. Second, TSMC 5nm process also has customers such as AMD, Bitulu, Altera and other customers.
