NASA has captured thousands of images from space, providing a spectacular alternative perspective for people who have not escaped gravity. As part of its daily sharing, NASA has just released a photo of Earth bathed in the shadow of sunrise. As can be seen from the information that was included in the file, this photo was taken on August 19, 2020, using a Nikon D4.

At the time of the shooting, the International Space Station was orbiting more than 200 miles above the ground, just beneath a coast northeast of Manila, Philippines. The dazzling light at sunrise casts a narrow shadow across the clouds.
