Toyota unveiled its new small SUV, yaRiS CROSS, in April, which can also be considered a yaRiS crossover, with a more rigid design and a smaller “RAV4”. Recently, according to the latest news frommedia, Toyota YARiS CROSS was officially listed in Japan, selling for 1,798,000 yen (about 117,000 yuan). It is worth mentioning that the car is likely to be introduced into domestic production in the future after it is listed overseas.
YaRiS CROSS, like the new Toyota YARiS, is based on the TNGA-B platform and is still a small SUV, but will be positioned lower than the C-HR.
The front face of the new car features a split intake grille, and the headlights are blackened with vertically laid-out steering and daytime running lights, highlighting the fashion sense.
The rear shape has a clear angle, and the running tail light further enhances the youth’s breath.
In terms of body size, YARiS CROSS has a length, width and height of 4180/1765/1560mm and a wheelbase of 2560mm. As a reference, the C-HR has a length and width of 4405/1795/1565mm and a wheelbase of 2640mm.
In the power part, the car is equipped with a mixing system consisting of a 1.5L three-cylinder engine and motor consistent with the new YARiS, with a combined maximum power of 118 horsepower, a three-way lithium battery pack for batteries, a CVT stageless transmission, and a four-wheel drive system.
