Apple is working on a new Apple TV that will include an upgraded remote control with features similar to Find My, Bloomberg reported. A report on Apple’s fall product launch plans also shared the message. Apple has been rumored to be planning to upgrade its Apple TV to 4K, and while the product is thought to be ready for release, Bloomberg notes that the new set-top box may not be available to consumers until 2021.
With a faster processor for the game, the upgraded Apple TV is expected to include a redesigned remote control. The new remote control is said to have a “Find My iPhone” feature that makes it easier to find remote controls left in a corner of the room.
Bloomberg did not provide details on the details of the possible launch of the new Apple TV next year, but signals from the device, which has been in testing since January, are likely to be released early next year.
