Although this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (IFA 2020) in Berlin has not been cancelled, the format has also been changed from offline to online. Media reported that LG wanted to faithfully recreate Berlin’s Pavilion 18, even taking into account the local weather and time. Users will be able to learn about new products, from home appliances to game displays, with mouse clicks and 3D interactions.
Of course, an OLED flexible screen TV wall installed on site,such as the one set up on CES 2020, is far more shocking than a mere online virtual pavilion. It is not clear whether manufacturers will turn more to online virtual exhibitions in the future.
