According tomedia reports, the British Adelman Animation Company announced that it will be for Netflix to produce a new fixed animation festival special. The new film, called Robin Robin, is reported to have told the story of a bird named Robin who grew up in a mouse family. The film is currently being produced at Adelman’s studio in the UK and is scheduled for release next year.
Netflix detailed the video in a statement today. According to his account, the chick named Robin went out to rob his family to prove that he was a real mouse, but things didn’t go according to plan because she found out she wasn’t actually a rat at all.
The festival film was produced by Helen Argo and executive producer Sarah Cox. Dan Ojari and Mikey Please from Aardman will be the lead creators and directors. Aardman has produced Super Invincible Dog, Little Sheep Shaun, Chick-fil-A, Comfort Creatures, and more.
So far, Netflix has launched films made by Adelman in several countries, such as “The Wanderers” and “The Curse of The Were-Rabbit.” The new special animated film is expected to air during the 2020 holiday season.
