Recently MediaTek has released a number of Tian’s series of chips, covering different price segments of the model. Today, The company officially announced the launch of its new Dimensity 1000C chip, which is tailored to the U.S. market and will be unveiled on the T-Mobile custom machine LG VELVET 5G. According to MediaTek’s official announcement, the Dimensity 1000C is still a product of the Dimensity 1000 series.

The chip has four Arm Cortex-A77 cores, four Arm Cortex-A55 small cores up to 2.0GHz, and five Mali-G57 GPU cores.
MediaTek officials say U.S. consumers don’t have many options for 5G phone chipsets compared to other markets around the world, and mediate’s emergence will give consumers more choices so that everyone can enjoy the new 5G experience.
LG VELVET 5G.
The first Model City 1000C chip model is LG VELVET 5G, a custom machine from T-Mobile. In addition to the Dimensity 1000C, the phone comes with a 48-megapixel three-camera camera.
The LG VELVET 5G also features a 6.8-inch screen and a built-in 4000mAh battery, which will ship on September 10 for $588.
