Samsung has confirmed that it will release a special version of the Galaxy S20 FE ( Fan Edition ) , although the company has not disclosed a release date , but the S20 FE may soon be available because the 5G version of the smartphone has been certified by China 3C , after the model was certified by Bluetooth SIG .
The 3C certification indicates that the Galaxy S20 FE will support 15W fast charging technology, which means that the S20 FE will take more time to fully charge the battery than the original Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus, while the latest two phones will support up to 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy S20 FE will feature the SnapSnapdragon 865 processor (or Exynos 990), which is also the processor of the original S20. The S20 FE’s display is also expected to be as smooth as the original S20, which also features a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Like the original Galaxy S20, the S20 FE has a 3.3 mm hole in the screen to accommodate the front camera, which is IP68 and can be soaked for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1.5 meters.
There have been rumours that the smartphone will have at least 128GB of internal storage capacity and will feature an Android 10-based OneUI 2.5 system, which will also be pre-installed in the Samsung Galaxy Note 20.
The Galaxy S20 FE is rumoured to cost about $750 and will be available in October 2020.
