On August 24th Tesla’s official website revealed that two versions of the home-made Model Y were on pre-sale.

Among them, the long-life version of the pre-sale price of 488,000 yuan, can achieve WLTP range of 505 kilometers, zero hundred acceleration 5.1 seconds, high-performance version of the pre-sale price of 535,000 yuan, can achieve WLTP range of 480 kilometers, zero-hundred acceleration of 3.7 seconds.

Tesla is also understood to be hiring staff, with recent hiring revelations suggesting the company is preparing to hire nearly 1,000 workers to work on the Model Y production line.

Tesla plans to begin mass production of Model Y in the first quarter of 2021.
