According tomedia reports, BOE flexible OLED panel shipments increased significantly in the first half of the year, close to the whole of last year, the planned full-year shipments, more than twice as much as last year. Media reported that in the first half of this year, BOE flexible OLED panel shipments of 16 million pieces, a significant increase year-on-year.

According to the statistics agency, Beijing Oriental’s flexible OLED panel shipped 17 million pieces last year and 16 million pieces in the first half of this year, just 1 million fewer than last year’s full-year shipments, equivalent to 94% of the whole of last year.
For the whole of this year,media reported that BOE’s goal is to ship 40 million flexible OLED panels, up 23 million from 17 million last year, up 135 percent year-on-year.
In terms of BOE’s full-year flexible OLED panel shipment target, they will need to reach 24 million pieces in the second half of the year to achieve their full-year target of 50% more shipments in the second half of the year than in the first half of the year.
Although BOE’s full-year shipment target for the full year was more than double last year’s,media reported that the 40 million-piece shipment target was still much lower than their original target. By the end of 2019, before the outbreak, BOE was planning to ship more than 70 million flexible OLED panels this year.
