According tomedia reports, Apple announced today (September 8) morning that it will hold a product launch on September 15, and it also posted a live video on its YouTube account. The metadata for the YouTube video contains several keywords mentioned by Guilherme Rambo, notably the Series 6– an Apple Watch that doesn’t exist yet.
Bloomberg said earlier today that the September 15 launch would not be the same as most of the September launches focused on the iPhone, but would be replaced by the new Apple Watch and iPad. The launch of the iPhone 12 is expected later in the fall — in October.
The appearance of Series 6 AW in the code appears to testify to Bloomberg’s claim.
Other keyword lists for existing products with metadata include Apple, iOS, iPhone, Apple Watch, Series 5, iPad, iPad Air, MacBook, iMac, MacBook Pro, Fitness, Wellness Illustration, Apple TV, Digital Art, AirPods, Apple Event, Apple. Keynote, WWDC, September, Apple Special Event, Apple Launch. Obviously, Apple is trying to attract people who search for relevant keywords by clicking on important keywords, but with the exception of Serie 6, these are existing products, so it’s hard to know what else we’ll see at the launch.
