As production capacity increases, we’ve heard about the new Nintendo Switch console in recent days. The Japanese console maker is asking digital game developers to prepare for the legendary Switch Pro model, according to a Bloomberg report. Nintendo has asked it to make 4K games, indicating that the new console will bring a resolution boost, it said, citing several outside game developers who spoke on condition of anonymity.

With Microsoft and Sony announcing the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, Nintendo, one of the “big three”, clearly doesn’t want to be absent.

Netizens speculated that switch Pro might offer some exclusive content (as in the DSi and 3DS/2Ds upgrades of the year) with the upgrade of the model. In addition, to attract players, Nintendo may be wooing more third parties (such as The Outside World).

It is not known how many 4K games will be available at the beginning of the new console’s launch. And from switch access to the TV base, the actual experience of some games may only stay at a simple 4K resolution stretch.
