Long March 5 rocket arrived in Wenchang,Hainan

Reporters from the National Space Administration was informed that on October 27, the Long March 5 remote three carrier rocket safely arrived in Hainan Wenchang Qinglan Port. After completing a series of assembly and testing work, the rocket will choose the aircraft to carry out the launch mission at the Wenchang space launch site in China. The rocket transport fleet, consisting of the Yuanwang 21 and 22 vessels belonging to the China Satellite Maritime Survey and Control Department, set sail from Tianjin Port on October 22 and, after 5 days and nights of sailing, weathered the complex sea conditions and environmental tests, and arrived safely at the Qinglan Port Terminal in Wenchang, Hainan.

The two transport vessels carry40 containers carrying the Long March V rocket, with a total weight of more than 1,000 tons. The size of the case varies, with the maximum length reaching more than 30 meters, about six times the size of an international standard container. Because the equipment and instruments inside the Long March 5 rocket are extremely complex and sophisticated, the violent vibration may have a very serious impact on the arrow body, so not only the lifting to be stable, but also in the transport process to be more stable. So scenes like “wind and waves” are to be avoided for the Far Hope rocket carrier.

Shi said that if the transport of navigation encountered more than 2.5 meters of waves, the fleet will not be allowed to sail. It is understood that the Far Hope rocket transport ship is China’s first special rocket transport ship, two Far Hope rocket transport vessels have carried out a number of Long March 5 carrier rocket containers, Long March 7 carrier rocket container maritime transport tasks. Since the two ships were delivered for use, the two vessels have sailed a total of more than 40,000 nautical miles and successfully completed more than 10 maritime transport missions.

International development of new rockets, including satellite spacecraft, the proportion of the use of new technology is generally not more than 30%.
