Microsoft today unveiled an improved Surface Pro X device that performs better and has a new platinum-gold look. All but the new SQ2 processor and new colors remain the same. In addition to black, the Surface Pro X keyboard comes in three new colors: ice blue, poppy red, and white gold.
Microsoft also announced software improvements to the improved Surface Pro X and the older Surface Pro X, which now offer up to 15 hours of battery life, and the new Microsoft 365 app, optimized for Windows on ARM, to provide better performance and reliability.
The Surface Pro X features a full 13-inch PixelSense screen, built-in HD webcam, and includes Studio microphones, Dolby audio, and gigabit LTE support, making it ideal for meetings on the go.
The newly improved Surface Pro X configuration, which starts at $1,499.99, is already on pre-sale in some markets today and will be available for purchase on October 13.
