At tomorrow’s online launch, AMD will announce its next wave of Ryzen desktop processors and provide more information about the new “Zen 3” architecture. The AMD Zen 3 event will kick off at 9am/12am EST and will be announced on AMD’s official YouTube channel.
The upcoming Zen 3 chipset is expected to be based on an enhanced 7nm manufacturing process for greater energy efficiency and performance.
On the eve of the launch, AMD also said on Twitter today that the Ryzen processor represents a complete mix of performance and technology, and that the journey is just beginning.
It will be interesting to see how AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 5000 series of desktop processors collide with the current process, but the market is still stubbornly facing the 10th and 11th generation Intel Core processors, and even how the upcoming Rocket Lake processors collide in 2021.
