Media reported that Tesla is refreshing the Model 3. Over the past few months, we’ve heard a lot about the electric car, including the modified body and the production of a new version of the chrome-plated strip in China. Electrek said it had obtained a new spy photo from a source. However, for protection purposes, it is not possible to share with you for the time being.
Electrek editor Fred Lambert shared a photo of his Model 3 ride and noted that the new model has added model Y-like electric defenders.
On the interior side, the top may become slightly darker. On the central side, Model 3 is ushering in a completely different style. Tesla is said to have decided to get rid of the bright black finish and switch to a matte style.
Compared with the design of the central control part, the current version consists of three parts, but the new model seems to be integrated into two parts. The open mode is no longer a flip, but a sliding door similar to model S/X.
The area of the wireless charging plate at the top is very different, and the chrome trim is not so coherent. The cup holder part is not chrome-plated, and the section near the opening appears slightly higher. The charging part of the phone looks like a piece of hard plastic, complemented by what appears to be a suede faux leather.
Finally, to reduce noise and climate impacts, the Model 3 has a double-decker window glass. While it is unclear when the new car will be delivered, sources say it will be assembled at the Fremont plant.
